ISLAMABAD, Oct. 6 – The All Pakistan Chinese Enterprises’ Association (APCEA) has given flood victims in Pakistan more than Rs. 400 million.
The gifts, according to the specifics, consist of Rs. 120 million in infrastructure repairs and Rs. 280 million in monetary aid in the form of tents, ration bags, drinking water, clothes, and other items.
Yang Jianduo, chairman of APCEA, stated in a video message, "Ever since the severe floods started in Pakistan, APCEA started immediate and prompt action, encouraging our members and advising on donating money, tents, food, and rebuilding homes and other infrastructure, and providing relief to Pakistani people.”
Under the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund 2022, APCEA gave Rs. 15.5 million (about $ 71,340) to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in August. After the NDMA monetary assistance, APCEA started to solicit donations for "emergency help.”
According to Yang’s association’s data, the total money raised thus far "exceeds Rs. 400 million,” and APCEA is also involved in a "substantial number of flood relief initiatives,” she added. He claimed that their firms had directly "undertaken” emergency services.
